I know a lot of people have questions about what it’s like to be transgender that they’re afraid or embarrassed to ask – often because they don’t want to offend people. I personally find myself quite open to answering questions that other trans people find uncomfortable, so go ahead. Please do bear in mind however, that I am not representative of all trans people so don’t take my openness nor answers as the case for everyone.
I also know a lot of people in the LGBT+ community find it hard to understand being both gay/trans and religious, so I’d be happy to talk about that too.
A little bit about me, I’m 20, a gamer, in a relationship and a lesbian. I live in the UK and have been out as trans for around 4 years, and as a lesbian about the same time. My situation is a LOT better than most trans people, I have a supportive family etc.
Anyway, AMA, I’m bored 😛
Edit: To those posting Bible verses asking me to defend myself, don’t bother. I’ve been dealing with this for 4 years now, if you think I haven’t already read and formed an opinion on these things you’re wrong. I am happy to talk about my experience with faith, but I’m not here to do a Bible study or debate class.
